Kaboom

Broomview House goes up (or rather down). I spent quite a lot of time there when I should have been at school in 5th and 6th year at my now sadly departed friend Crawford's house. 8th floor, lifts never working.

Shortly after it came down, an older guy who had helped build it came over for a chat. He'd been interested in what would happen to all the compressed steel he'd put in there 40 odd years ago.

The answer is that it all just disappeared. 2 minutes later the dust cleared and there was just a view of the Pentlands.
