Great Pram Race

The Great Pram Race - The Running Of The Prams - was run through the west end of Fremantle on this perfect Sunday morning. Many wonderful families, grand parents, friends - and Mums and Dads running and walking with their beautiful kids.

I was lucky to get a Blipable photo with just about every shot.

I watched this Dad and his boy for a moment and it seemed to capture the event as I saw it....Family. (another small child was tucked in the back of the pram, tandem fashion. But there were a thousand other family photo opportunities too.

The event was started by a group of women around a kitchen table three years ago and has grown to an annual event.

The event was a fund raiser for Children's Leukemia & Cancer Research Foundation and Ngalia, a WA family organisation

I should mention the sponsors too - Newmont Asia Pacific. Channel 9, Bendigo Bank, Scott Print, Debower Associates, Coles Supermarkets.

Just like Fremantle - another coomunity event - too many choices and reasons to live in this wonderful place.
