Slightly better

The early morning attempt at Saturn again.

Have had some useful advice about different ways to image this beautiful planet. Just need another clear night to have a go at it.

Was still stood outside at 2.30 this morning, with binoculars, hunting for other items to check off the list of Moore Marathon items from the BBC Sky at Night. So far I am on 31/55 items. Some of them are going to elude me as they are early morning items, pre-dawn, and as work re-starts tomorrow, pre-dawn alarm calls are not on my agenda.

Apologies for my recent spate of astronomy geekiness - April seems to have been thoroughly related to moon, star and planet blips. Appreciate everyones comments and tolerance of my increasing level of nerdiness.
