Weston Park Spring Horse Trials

One of those day's when Lorna and I were in complete agreement, off to the horse trials.

When we first started going 15-20 years ago you might see one or two photographers, now it's like a sports photographer convention.I almost blipped on of those classic shots of a bank of long telephoto lenses all pointing in one direction.

Still, we were there to enjoy the good weather (boy was it cold, though!) and take a photograph of horse and rider. In the end I let Lorna choose. She felt that both horse and rider gave the impression of enjoying what they were doing. I like the way the musculature and veins stand out on the horse's coat.
