Which way to the water hole?

It was the 3rd Brighton Marathon today.

The whole city turns out to cheer and it's a great event. Runners from across the world compete and say how wonderful the supporters are. We shouted ourselves hoarse on the seafront as we waited for various friends to run past.

Lots of sights and I particularly felt for the guy running in a rhino outfit. It looked very heavy. At least in a fancy dress outfit no-one can see the look of grim determination on your face.

I haven't run a marathon since 2005 and I had pangs this morning about whether I should sign up for next year's event. But after three years of sunshine on marathon day, what are the odds that the weather gods would make it four?!
