A Roman Winkle....
This snazzy little Gastropod was lifted from the ruins of Pompeii, and whilst no carbon dating has been performed, it would be nice to imagine it had been scoffed by a local, toga wearing dignitary, by the name of Fattus Grastronomicus followed by the quaffing of the sulphurous wine they still produce on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius (here's one I took earlier....much earlier) ......
