know your onions
woke up early doors (6am) which wasn't ideal as last day of hol. still, i had set my alarm for 7am so as to catch the Chinese GP - I'd got a little bet on Sergio Perez finishing in the top 3, and whilst he led the race at one stage, it didn't go to my 33-1 plan this time! so, GP done, breakfast done, and was going to chill and do nothing. that's easier said than done with all my focus at present on no.49, my own house needs to be put into order. i had a v productive day. blue skies and lovely sunshine made clearing out the greenhouse much more fun. all nice and clean, and ready for this years crops. after that i cleared a large area and levelled off the soil, as stage one of project chicks (which has been put on hold due to Project 49, Project fireplace and Project gate!). popped up to mums and then back for lovely roast beef dinner. todays blip of one of my many red onions, from last years crop. beautiful colours, and now ready for me to make some special Jubilee Chutney for our Jubilee Party in June. early to bed tonight, to dream of a full 5 day week!!! :( oh no......
