Happy Day!

I thoroughly enjoyed the last day of my Easter holiday. Back to work tomorrow but I feel so refreshed and as though I have had a complete break.

I had a wonderful cycle this morning - all seems to be fixed at last and I was out for ages just pootling about discovering speed and uphill technique! Very satisfying and have some short routes planned for early morning and longer ones for evenings and weekends. Oh joy!

I walked to the village for the papers, prepared a few things for work and did a wee ironing, but got bored so wandered off to the river and found that this rape seed field seems to have popped out of nowhere!

I saw the 2 swans and the heron again. Blissful!

What a great holiday it has been all round. Always nervous for the first day back - I can never remember where I left off!
