The retrieval.....

.... is going well. Our scruffy but reliable.... quad bike makes easy meat of towing boats.

Porty Sailing, Kayaking and Rowing Club is getting going again. We had planned to go to Inchkeith in one of the skiffs with Jess and myself riding shotgun in the rescue boat and armed with camera (there are limits on photos which can be taken though).

The forecast was very poor and I looked out the window at 10 and could see white tipped waves so I wrote the day off. Bad move. The sea settled and there was a three hour window we could have crossed in. Bummer. But it was cold and blew up a little later so maybe discretion WAS the better form of valour today.

Took this shot of Andy retrieving his trusty new wayfarer after a first outing. Nice one. The new season bodes well with lots of new club members and boats and energy.
