Perfect Day

It really was.. We started off in the Chop House moving onto the City arms as one of my favourite Manchester pubs, The Vine was closed.. I noticed an empty and presumably stolen cash register tray on the street outside which reminded me that Manchester never changes.. The game got underway as the beers continued to flow and the view from Our Box was almost as good as City's performance. The fans seemed gobsmacked by how good City were today.. The six-nil scoreline did not flatter us.. A truly remarkable game with the Blues in scintillating form.. On the way out we bumped into City Legend and England international Mike Summerbee. He was the perfect gentleman and even pointed us in the direction of Colin Bell( City and England legend) who you see here above with Cryno's Dad, Rick and Our Kid.. a perfect day of football, beer, company and the Blues winning handsomely.. the stuff of dreams and memories...
