The Thames Barrier

A Birthday Sunday Lunch Jazz Cruise on the River Thames today. A year ago I was in Vegas celebrating my 30th with, amongst other, Trigger-Happy Fi and Daily Post (and Mrs DP) and today I was cruising up the Thames with mum & dad, the Doc, a bottle of champers and a lovely 3-course Sunday lunch. The weather was absolutely perfect and the cruise was fantastic. A lovely, perfect birthday. THF is now at mine and we're about to open some champers - purely in order to christen my new fabulous champagne glasses, you understand (present from Mr and Mrs DP - thanks you two).

The big 3-0 for THF tomorrow!! A year and a day younger than me. Watch this space.....
