Sixth sense
Mine was telling me that the train ride ahead was going to be a long, difficult one.
If only the Grand National finishers were as predictable as my kids...
Well, the excitement was very understandable, it was after all their first time all together on a diesel train. dhackett68 would know all about it...
It's not like we didn't have activities planned for them. Luca was his Disconnected Self for a while, while Mimi remembered that she had Mr Forgetful in her bag. Finnzy-Bob did the usual cheese and onion Tayto munching.
They were exemplary guests when we reached Mark's penthouse: they ran up and down the corridor screaming like lunatics and broke a few things. He'll think twice now before telling kids to 'make [them]selves at home'...
The three of them were K.O. at the end of the day, especially Finnzy-Bob. Maybe something to do with his meltdown during the diesel propelled return home...
