Snow gums

There are lots of beautiful stands of snow gums near our house... This shot doesn't capture what it feels like to be in their midst, but better than nothing.

It's a tranquil spot, surrounded by the pale, chalky, smooth trees - love how their trunks are twisted and turned.

I like how trees have their own personalities - its difficult to isolate and blip an individual one but am going to keep trying. Guess it's a case of not seeing the tree for the forest.
