I like vanilla Its the finest of the flavours...

Had a good day today, Dad came down to visit. When he first arrived, the Dog was very excited to see him, at one point Dad asked why he was shaking, I told him that's what Dog does when he's happy to see someone!

We went to a pub in the next village along which had been recommended to me by several of the farmers - the food was excellent! They had a mixed grill which sounded incredible, would need to starve myself a few days beforehand mind you so maybe that can be a challenge for next time!

Afterwards we visited a farm which has only Jersey cows and serves ice cream made on the farm. It was really good, you can definitely taste the difference from shop bought ice cream (Dad liked it too, although he was less convinced by the superiority of the Jerseys and more interested in the business model)

All in all a good day. Finished it off watching Marley and Me - mistake! Fortunately I have my own incorrigible dog around to hug!
