Castell Penrhyn

Juts on the outskirts of Bangor lies Penrhyn castle. Built in the 1800s with the fortune accumulated from the nearby Penrhyn slate quarry, it still forms quite an imposing sight.

It houses an excellent raiway museum and a notable collection of dolls.
