Big-badda-boom

Last day of the science festival today and we caught a session on A Year in the Life of the LHC.

It was very interesting, and well presented so we could enjoy it rather than just sitting in stunned way-out-of-our-depth silence for the duration. And ending it off with a Skype call to the main control room at CERN* was a real highlight.

After yesterday's fuzziness, today has certainly at the opposite end of the spectrum.
