BFF's

Kaylee and Katie played outside most of the afternoon. It's great to see their friendship grow since their early years at Val's. One day during their teenage years, I'll look back on today's blip and remember when they'd be happy to stay home and play.... no boys, no driving, no problems... the good ole days.

While the kids were playing, BJ and I worked on the gazebo roof (6 hours yielded 2 rows of shingles... augh!). It looks great, and we both understand why gazebo's are so expensive, it's tedious work.

It was another BEAUTIFUL weekend, both days in the 70's - no bugs, a slight breeze and brilliant sunshine. We managed to get so much accomplished and I'm happy with our progress.
