Sales are booming for Jaguar Land Rover in China. When I first visited China for six weeks in 2002 I didn't see one Land Rover but many Jeeps and Toyota 4WDs. It's fair to say things have changed considerably. Jeep's not so common anymore.

China is JLR's third largest market after the UK and US. One in six Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Jaguars built last year (2011) were shipped to China, where sales grew to 42,000, an increase of more than 60% in a year.
