Spiral

I visited The Museum of Liverpool at the weekend. It is excellent, far too much to take in at once.
I was taken by the graceful spiral staircase which is in total contrast to the angular lines of the striking exterior.
I wonder if the architect is a fan of FLW's Gugenheim?
