The old dock at the cottage...

Our time in Michigan is always short and there is always too much for our short time, so we can't sit still for long - or at all. We made a quick run to the cottage this morning to check on the status and see how it wintered. A busted pipe showed itself when we turned the water on, and the furnace has apparently retired, or at least quit for lack of attention, but otherwise, all is well.

This old dock has served it's time and by our next visit will be gone, but I thought it deserved a blip in honor of its tireless service to boats, young fisherman and of course, the ducks and swans who refuse to go elsewhere to do their business.
