Dog Days

After yesterdays massive drive-a-thon it been a quiet day around the croft even His Majesty didn't have the energy to chase any rabbits so it was just a walk on the beach and clearing our the last of the veg crop from the greenhouse.

We've picked aubergine, red, green and yellow peppers, chilli's and tomatoes, so it looks like ratatouille for tea which is a bit of a favourite.

That's the growing season just about over for this year with just a few courgettes left but we'll still be chutneying, preserving and freezing for a week or so yet so I don't think we'll be going hunger this winter.
