Hadrian Yard

Had to go to Wallsend this evening.
This magnificent thing is being built at Wallsend slipway, and I am told it is the legs of an oil platform lying sideways. Its quite breathtaking when you are close .
Had George today but he was not very photogenic due to a runny nose. Potty training still ongoing with varying amounts of success....there's only a limited amount of bribery a Gran can resort to.
Went to South beach for a walk after Wallsend, and collected some sea coal for tonights fire..... cosy !
