creature of habit

there a a couple of blue tits in the garden at the moment, I assumed a pair but I think it's 2 males - as they appear to be making war rather than love. They are around during the day but seem to like to eat their tea at about 6.00pm...and are very picky with their food as they throw a lot away before finding the bits they like.
