shoes don't grow on trees you know!....

Shoes don't grow on trees... that's what my mum told me, and it's what I told my kids when they'd come home with the toes scuffed of their shoes.
Well, this tree proves us wrong!

Had to wait in the house today for the BT engineer to come and faff about with my broadband... again! ..Still not sure why I stick with BT, but I'm not going to go on about it for the fear that it will turn into a rant!

So I had to go out for an evening blip with Sammy and my Hubby...
We went to the Newhailes Estate, this is some where I've never walked Sammy as it's grounds have lots of trees, and anyone who knows me, knows that I have an irrational fear of trees...
I would have freaked out if I'd been on my own, as we walked through the grounds we stumbled across a few odd trees with childrens shoes tied to them which slightly un nerved me.... that was until we came across this huge tree with shoes of all different sizes and styles tied all over it... I don't have a clue who did it or why... and I think it's safe to say I won't be back to find out!!

There really is some strange folk out there!....
