The Explorer

Three washings done, three people washed and dressed and one dinner cooked by 10am, I was on a bit of a roll this morning. Even managed to get out in the garden and do some planting, rather than the usual weeding.

Lunches sorted and one out of two naps taken, we headed off to our friend's house for a playdate with the kids. After the chaos and carnage of little Ab's birthday party it was rather brave of E to invite us to trash her house too, but she did. And we did.

Lovely time had by all but we were all a bit frazzled by the end of it - one kid started crying and it was a chain reaction which sent the three others off wailing too. The 3 mums stood in the room comforting said children (and suppressing our giggles) while it all kicked off.

My intrepid Dino-Hunter and his sister had a ball. The madness will be reciprocated at our house soon, but I'll make sure it's when the weather's good enough to throw the kids into the garden. Clever mummy!
