Nesting Pair

They look like an old married couple with nothing to say to each other who are just staying together for the sake of the kids.

The female house finch is on the left and the male is on the right.

I couldn't believe my good fortune to be able to catch this nesting pair in the same shot with the same expression at the same moment. I guess more than half of what we do is just dumb luck.
