Lambeth Walk

This is the Lambeth Walk in St Ives. It was built in the 1930s around the time the musical Me and my Girl was written and although it has another name on the official maps all the local have called it the Lambeth Walk ever since.

When I was a much younger we had a lot of fun betting each other to walk along this in storms and see who got the wettest when the waves broke over the roof tops. Ahhh those where the days :)
