Heavenly fayre
...at least it is for me.
It was a bit of consolation after today's disastrous attempts with manual focus.
It's one thing to know nothing...quite another to know you know nothing...
It's hard to see where to fit in a camera course right now.
Just have to persist with the manuals and hope some of it start to make sense.
Meantime, it's back to AF....and the last minute food Blip!
Best laid plans....
Was looking forward to a spot of sun basking, catching up with colleagues and decent funding - an irresistible combination.
Now that two projects are being rescheduled, am hoping the next dates don't clash. There's so much organising involved to bring everyone together.
Aside from that - projects that have decent funding subsidise other areas that I'm committed to but are less financially viable.
(that loud groan you just heard was my accountant !)
On the plus side, since the small foot fracture that's been plaguing me for the past two months is only just easing, the delay's probably a good thing.
The day after the flights were cancelled a package arrived out of the blue from Southern Spain, where I'd been due to work.
It was a gift from an old friend I'd lost touch with, completely unconnected to the trip but the timing was just perfect.
Aside from all that, the mouse is back...eek!
