I was thinking Mum ....

Jamie returned home from his rather boozy and expensive weekend away with the boys at the Munich Oktoberfest!

The children and I always miss him when he's not here, whether it's work or play, for days or for weeks and it's always so nice to have him back home.

Jade goes to school at a small Service Childrens Education school in our home town of Celle, in Germany. It is a fantastic school with the most amazing equipment, small class sizes and TA's in every classroom! We are so lucky she is in such a good school :)

At the moment though at least 90% of the children that attend her school has a parent away on deployment in Iraq. I take my hat off to all of them! Before Jade went to bed she was asking lots of questions about the boys (and girls) being away, to which I think I answered her pretty well... She then said 'But why do they have to go away Mummy' .... all I could say was 'I really don't know Jade!'

If anybody's got a better answer for a 9 year old then please let me know!
