Boiling sea
We've been lashed with a storm since early this morning. I was up at 5.30am and the building was rocking gently. It's quite odd to feel the sway! The rain has abated just long enough for me to get the window open and take this pic.
There's a strange thing arising from the sea over towards Worthing. At first glance through my spotter scope it looks like an oil rig with a big boom. But I think it may be the first of the new wind turbine bases being set using a portable rig. It seems a bit soon after the 'consultation' for it to be happening. I wouldn't like to be out there today, but I guess it gets worse in the North Sea! Maybe someone else has more information?
