Dunottar Castle

It rained the whole morning, but cleared up in the afternoon. A quick run down to Dunottar Castle, roughly 20 miles South of Aberdeen.

The Scottish crown jewels were kept here briefly when Cromwell invaded Scotland. When the castle was besieged by his army the Crown Jewels were smuggled out and hidden in a nearby church. They were kept sade and are now in Edinburgh CAstle.

WHile I was there I was twice asked if I was with Pixar. Well no, but I did see somebody with quite a fancy camera. Apparently they are filming something there.

Although the sun came out it remained pretty cold.
