Beavering workers

Heroic workers stand proudly on the Green Bridge over the river Neris in central Vilnius. The Soviet realism of the statutes on each corner of the bridge allied with the bus that happened to be crossing when I took the photo could almost make this a period shot.

However, the towers, billboards and graffiti confirm that I did indeed blip this today.

This morning while running along the banks of the river I spotted another busy worker in the form of a beaver. Quite a surprise since I was in the very centre of the city.
