We had a really busy day up at the venue for the wedding, setting up the tables, arranging flowers - Sam and I were particularly pleased with our efforts, with the help of Holly the flower wench, we managed to make all 16 of the table arrangements. You'd never have known they weren't done by professionals! Go us!!

Spent some time late afternoon rounding up the late arrivals and then went to the pub to meet the bridal party for a drink before they went off to their respective hotels/houses for the night before the big day. Lovely evening, then the rest of us pottered on home to the cottages and some of us sat up drinking wine and chatting till the wee small hours. So much for an early night!

Jip loved the cake, as did everyone else after I iced it and put candles on when we were at the pub! I didn't plan on having to take it out of the cottages so didn't bring a box! Not my finest moment, icing a cake in the middle of a boozer!

Hey ho... there was an even finer moment when we finally headed back to the cottages... Gem was following (or so I thought!) so when the F reg car pulled up outside of the cottages I thought it'd be funny to flash at her and Mike! Only it wasn't Gem and Mike... it was the middle aged couple in the cottage two doors down!! I'm not sure who laughed more, them or us (after the initial mortification that is!) but having to go and speak to them re the parking situation, or lack of it, afterwards wasn't my favourite moment of the day.

Note to self: Flashing your tits is not big nor clever!! Doh!
