German Thrift shops; Reasons to be cheerful

This is a detail of a 100 mark note produced in Berlin 7 February 1908.. I bought eight of these bad boys today for the massive total of one euro fifty cents.. Don't you just love a bargain? They're in pretty good nick considering they're nearly a century in age. If you look closely you see the crease where this note has been folded in half.
