The hood - Woodstock style

I worked the 4 hours recommended by the occupational health doctor - and dismissed by me as ridiculous, only to find that I was very ready to go home, and that when I got there, I went to sleep!
Before that I stopped off in Woodstock to buy snacks for the book group tonight. We have set a very high standard of light refreshment, and I wouldn't want to be the one to let it down...
I like the light in this shot and I think it's quite lively, but it is a shame there are so many cars
I really like the group as we seem to have acheived the right level of seriousness. I wouldn't want the kind of group where noone has read the book or it's just an excuse for a gossip; but I don't feel that it's competetive either (though there are some rather clever, insightful people in it). Tonight we'll be discussing my choice, Mr Linh and his Child, then planning! We have been to the Hay festival together a couple of times but couldn't get anywhere to stay this year so we're planning to go away together to Brecon in July and have a do-it-yourself festival.
