It not ok to be a bimbo

Today was a tricky blip, there are lots of things I don't like. I keep them out of the house as they make me angry. So finding something to snap was difficult.
Suggested things might have been the government, the Daily Mail, the fact that it seems to be fine to people to pay an experienced cover teacher less than an NQT. Private agencies extorting money from the public service sector. Many things....
However they are not at my house to photograph.
Among other things I don't like are so called celebrity culture, TV shows reinforcing the idea that women should look pretty and date a rich man, footballer or Mr Big and he will buy you a big wardrobe.
The media seems to be telling our female kids that women should aspire to go shopping as a hobby and find a rich bloke who will pay for it. Shopping is not a hobby! You are not interested in fashion if you like shopping! Fashion is creating looks, making clothes with sewing machines, being creative. Shopping is just buying what has been advertised to you. So sex and the city is one of the things I blame. Filling our cities with umpa lumpas in too high heels, drinking cosmos at lunch time and shopping. Rant over. Admittedly some of the shagging is quite funny. That doesn't make it right.
