Weather forecast was completely wrong for this area - it was supposed to start wet, temporarily fine and then wet and windy. It started wet but then dry for the rest of the day. On the walk this morning I said to a farmer 'this is the best part of the day' - he replied 'the best part of the day was when it was raining' - the crops really do need some rain.
