Visit to Cotehele, Devon

Life in the past lane today with a visit to the National Trust tudor house at Cotehele. We arrived at the house just missing the downpour and spent an hour looking around the arts and crafts before visiting the house.

Very interesting, steeped in history and the guides were full of engaging anecdotes. Our reward for paying so much attention was a piece of farmhouse fruit cake with real cup of tea, made with leaves. We ambled back to Tavistock taking in Morwellham Quay on the way. That looked interesting with it water wheel and deep copper mines however we must visit again on another day as it was just closing as we arrived.

A rainbow appeared and vanished in a blink of an eye much too soon for todays blip.
