lungs of the city

went for a stroll in the edinburgh royal botanic gardens this morning they really are the lungs of the city, a little bit of quiet, I guess most edinburgh based folks will know them well. Not much in flower this time of year outside, but these little fellas seemed quite proud of themselves. I'm afraid I don't know what they are called, and I couldn't see a tag.
