ooh memory lane today! found my lovely friend Sadies old house.. drove through wildey,st michael, along batts rock, stopped at Paynes bay and spent 2 hours either under a brolly for shade or in the sea for coolness..
*i love paynes bay,, we spend MANY hours on the beach with alex and sadie and family...most christmas'days wer on this beach! cos we could!

went to Bombas beach bar (that used to be at paynes bay but is now at Mullins) met up with the owner wayne who greeted us like old friends!!!

had a shirley temple *sprite grenadine & ice, for Alex, ate fish cakes and salad and chips..ste had seared tuna..
watched TURTLES frolick in the ocean..
took 300+ photos..

went home the scenic route and got a bit 'lost'
ended up picking up a little helper called paul who took us to the blow holes and also a place3 i used to go to when we had visitors.. as theres an awesome view down the coast to Bathsheba..
*i remember i took my Dad there when he came to visit in 1996
he just loved this island.. its the only time i ever saw him go IN the sea..ever! (clacton paddling doesnt count!)

wonderful day.. just what i needed.. chilling out by the seaside..

Its just so good to be here again.
