Faces of Fiona #55

Tuesday. Fiona Day. Today we went to the zoo (as it was not raining!) with Fiona and Tatum, who is on spring break. The zoo was a zoo today -meaning crawling with people/kids. But we had the best ever show of the bears swimming and eating. (but the photos are thru a very scratched up window glass...) I still am waiting to see them catch a fish in their pond. Here Fiona and Tatum have fish (yes, for a price, but the zoo can use it) to feed to Rosalita, one of the humboldt penguins who was born here last June. Rosalita was very impatient and gobbled them right down.
Fiona is full of mischief- for a big, (odd), change, she was done with the carousel after 1 ride, she would not take a nap with Boppa, (she plays with putting all the dolls under the covers but just won't settle) she would not read a book (also odd for her), she took many pictures with my little pocket camera that she's figured out how to use,(and only dropped once) and was very intent on singing a lot - but we can't understand the words.
She is such an interesting little girl, who changes every week.
Tatum and I didn't get as much time as we hoped for to do some art....... alone. We did do some......
AND, tomorrow we are very happy to be off to the island for a 6 day break with some good (adult!) friends! :-)
