Diamonds & Watches

Okay, so this isn't going to win any photography awards, but I wanted a record of the evening and felt I could only get away with a quick snap.

I'd gone to a swish hotel just outside Leeds with one of my friends who'd been invited to a do to celebrate the launch of Blancpain watches at one of the jewellers here.

To cut a long story short, it was a wonderful evening. I'd not been sure what to expect, but there was:
- champagne
- canapes
- much oooing and aahing over expensive, shiny things
- 4 course dinner with candelabras and chandeliers everywhere
- too much wine
- port
- a goodie bag to take away

A couple of watches were tried on (way out of my price-range) and despite having never been a particular fan of diamonds, I *did* very much like the diamond necklace that I tried on. All £26 000 of it. Needless to say, that it was handed back to the lovely Claire :-(
