Cafe del Mar....

.....let's be honest, there couldn't and shouldn't be a south east Asia version of the original, but Nancy was fair looking forward to some ambient chunes and a decent cocktail. However, it was not to be, the Cafe is closed for 'development' with no sign of it opening under the same name again.

Earlier, we'd done the 'Sentosa' thing, which is quite a surreal place, golden sand beaches with little coves looking out on to hundreds of oil tankers and container ships parked just off-shore.

Packing to go now, the party is nearly over.
