Birthday Treat

I visited my good friend John this evening at his house in Lickey. The last time I went it was wet and misty see previous blip; at least it wasn't misty this time.

We went for an excellent meal at the Bangladeshi restaurant, Massala, in Rubery. It's one of our regular haunts and the service and food was as impeccable as ever (though surprisingly we were the only customers all evening). I had a salmon tikka starter see - Salmon Starter - followed by a Sagwala Curry with garlic nan.

It was John's birthday on Saturday and I caught sight of part of his cake outside the window. How nice to share with the wild birds of Lickey!
