Animal Print

This lovely lady from Spain had on no less then five different animal prints. She didn't speak a word of English but she patted me so warmly on the cheek and hugged me like a long lost friend.

Day ten of 24 hr police presence at the end of our road. Every day teams of forensic scientists arrive in their blue hazmat suits carrying large silver boxes. There were at least 30 of them on Monday and 50 last Friday. They have been dragging the drains (which I must say does not look like an exact science) and they have been all over the rooftops and back gardens. None of us are any wiser as to what has happened. We know there was a body and the 'Mayor' of our Rd. says there is a suspect. It has been a bit unsettling to say the least.
