Election 2012....

Not the most interesting of blips today but a very important one for our island of Guernsey! Every 4 years a new States of Guernsey (Government) is elected and they are called deputies. Each parish (10 of them) votes for their own deputies. In Castel we have 13 candidates and 7 seats. Island wide there are 77 candidates and 45 seats. These men and women will be responsible for the running of our island for the next 4 years so I hope the people voting get it right! Time will tell!
