Everyday..

Today I had a chance to listen to a lady who had decided to make a major change in her life at the age of 42 - from a banker to a mountaineer and eventually becoming the first Finnish woman to reach the top of Mt Everest. Her speech was all about targets, determination, persistence, winning the challenges, you name it. On almost each slide there was a picture of herself to illustrate the journey. It was a story about herself working hard, traveling around the world and fulfilling her personal dreams.

A great story. Then what was it that bothered me so much?
