Priced the train tickets today, I thought as its costing us nothing for our accommodation as we are going to stay with friends we would travel first class, I've only ever been to Liverpool on the train so it would be another once in a lifetime for me, £200 not bad.
I then spoke to Annette my friend and she has said to take Rach with us and they will have her while we go to the Stadium and then we can all spend the next day and night together so we are now going in the car, first class is wasted on an eight year old.

Tony has been to a meeting today and brought back some Olympic goodies, a flag, mug, tshirts, chocolate mascots, pencils, lapel pins and those horn things that are very loud.
Rach will be chuffed when she sees it all but I've made up a raffle prize with some of it for our charity night in work.

I received a phone call at 11.45 from beachball to say she had a spare hour so we met at New Brighton for lunch and a quick catch up on the shop. I do like spare of the moment get togethers.

Weighed in tonight after not going for two weeks, not been on it properly and I've lost a 1b so I'm up to 9.5 now, it's coming off slowly but the inches from circuit are fab.
