Odd sludge

It felt a bit like standing at those mineral pools in Yellowstone where the Technicolor algae flow in the shallows streams of toxic brine. The melting snow piles have revealed this strange but rather beautiful bottom of the wetlands. It's quite frigid still, especially when the breeze races across that partially frozen water right at me.
