Getting my goat

I'm reading a fascinating book at the moment about the tricks used by so-called fortune-tellers. One is the illusion of uniqueness - and the example it gives is someone telling you that 'you are the sort of person that lets your heart rule your head, can sometimes be too impulsive for your own good, and have recently come into contact with a goat'.
'Rest assured,' the author tells us. 'You're not the only one.'
I didn't see a goat in the Lakes last week, but in central London came across this fella...
